Singer, backing vocalist, vocal arranger/harmonies.. Been in the music business from the early 80’s worked on recordings and performances as a group named “JAWS” then went on to work with the likes of Mirriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Themba Mkhize, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Lucky Dube, Stimela, Letta Mbulu and Caiphus Semenya respectively. Movie soundtracks: Ushaka, Power of One, The Lion King Internationally recorded with Simply Red, Stef Bos, Cindy Lauper Did an opening celebration for the Greece Olympics, tribute to Manu Hadzidakis Involved in projects like S.A.B.C 2 tribute to Busi Mhlongo and later Sara Bartman. A collaboration between Belgium and South Africa project called Southernwind with musical director and arranger Wouter Van Denabelle in orchestral style celebrating South African music then later featured as singer and voice coach on “Sioen” Calling Up Soweto also Belgian. 2010 Fifa World Cup kick-off celebration concert headlined by Lira, Hugh Masekela, Angelique Kidjo, Vusi Mahlasela and John Legend to name a few. Celebrated Limpopo’s musically talented sons and daughters with Limpopo Youth Orchestra Still doing small European tours on Tribute to Mirriam Makeba with Angelique Kidjo Vusi Mahlasela,Baba Mal and other African stars. Latest was New York City’s Carnegie Hall in the U.S.A. Recently co-ordinated voices and recorded music arranged by Caiphus Semenya and Alex Heffes for Long Walk To Freedom film directed by Anant Singh. Received an honorary award for contribution in music from South African “Arts and Culture” in conjunction with “Tribute Music Awards”in2013.
